MS Spring 17

This morning was the middle school spring sports awards and at the core of each teams message was the Bible.  Scripture was the inspiration for each team with key verses used as a focal point for what teams did and wanted to achieve this season.  Some of the team verses used this spring were Philippians 4:13, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength”, Colossians 3:17, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”, Philippians 2:3, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves” and I Corinthians 9:24, “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”  It was a great spring season for our athletes and we are grateful to God for his provision.
