Volleyball Wins Silver Bracket at Whitmore Lake Tournament

The volleyball team competed at the Whitmore Lake Tournament Saturday winning the silver division.  The team finished 2nd in pool play going 1-0-2 defeating Arbor Prep 25-8 & 25-17 while splitting with Manchester 25-17 & 20-25 and Lansing Catholic 19-25 & 25-23.  The Eagles were placed in the silver division where they defeated Livingston Christian in the semifinals 25-16 & 25-12 and then Blissfield in the final 25-12 & 25-13.  The team leaders on the day were Kaelin Ray with 42 kills, Emily Van Dyke with 36 digs, Rachel Stiteler with 79 assists, Keirsten Mitchell with 13 aces and Grace McFerrin with 13 blocks.  The team is now 19-2-2 and will visit Franklin Road Christian on Tuesday at 6:30 for a MIAC blue conference game.
