Tim Fracassi will wrap up his 20th and final year at Southfield Christian this week. Tim has faithfully served the school community over the past two decades as an administrator, teacher, coach and friend. He has invested time and energy into the lives of staff and students going above and beyond to meet other’s needs.
Tim, an 87’ alumni of Southfield Christian, started working here in 1998. He coached a wide array of sports including football, soccer, baseball and basketball. Tim was the longtime Head Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach leading some of the best teams in school history. He also served as the Head Football Coach where his team made the school’s 1st playoff appearance. Under his leadership the girls’ soccer program and the football program were established. He was recognized by the Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association as the Regional Athletic Director of the Year and by the Oakland County Athletic Directors Association for his 13 years of service as an Athletic Director to the County.
For the Fracassi’s it was a family affair at Southfield Christian; as his wife Heather (89′), recorded the last 20 years of school history through the lens of her camera. Many of the pictures she took have been used to show the excellence of the school to all who could see. Their daughters Sydney (16’) and Emma (17’) are recent graduates of Southfield Christian. We are grateful to the Fracassi family for their years of service and wish them all the best as they relocate to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to start the next chapter of their lives. You will be missed!
