Varsity Boy’s Basketball, 17-4 (10-0), MIAC Blue Conference Champions

The Boys Basketball team captured the MIAC Conference Title for the 9th consecutive year and their 6th straight undefeated season in conference play.  Senior Da’Jion Humphrey became the 6th player in program history to surpass the 1,000 career point mark.  He will also become the 6th alum in the past 9 years to go onto to play collegiately at the NCAA Division I level having signed with Holy Cross prior to the season.  Senior Noah  Rheker also made a splash in the Eagle record books scoring a school record 42 points in a game to break Brock Washington’s 2017 school record of 40 points.

Varsity Girl’s Basketball, 11-11 (1-7, 4th-Tied MIAC Blue Conference), MHSAA District Champions

The Lady Eagles Basketball team came into the new season with the challenge of playing in the more difficult upper division of the conference after finishing 2nd place last year in the lower division.  The young team finished the season 11-11 and captured the MHSAA District Tournament Title for the 1st time since 2017.  Sophomore Ti’Syn Callahan set a new school record with 46 points in a game surpassing Charity Godbold’s 2013 record of 39 points.
