Chris Davenport won the long jump with a jump of 20 feet 11 1/4 inches. After the field events were totaled up the Eagles were in third place trailing Napoleon and Lutheran Westland. As the races began the Eagles dropped down to 5th place before beginning their climb to the top. Bryson Glenn took 2nd in the 100, and ran on the 2nd place 4×200 team along with Luke Hanson, Joel John, and Chris Davenport. Bryson also ran on the very close and competitive 4×100 team along with Luke, Joel and Robert Reynolds who dove across the finish line to give the guys a 3rd place finish. Dubem Amene took first in the 400 and 800 running away from the competition. Chris Davenport returned to win the 200 and lead off the winning 4×400 team of Chris, Eric Wagoner, Kameron Terry, and Dubem Amene.
The Eagles will return to Lutheran Westland Saturday for the Regional Final.
