M.I.A.C. Spring Athletic Awards

Although this spring never got fully on the way and our student-athletes continued to excel in the classroom.  44 of our spring athletes were recognized by the Michigan Independent Athletic Conference by earning Academic All-Conference.  Also, each year the M.I.A.C. recognizes a male and female athlete from each member school with the M.I.A.C. Character Award

Coaching Profile: Ken Brown-Softball

Head Softball Coach Ken Brown has been a part of the Southfield Christian community for over 40 years.  Last spring he retired from teaching Math at SCS after 4 decades of service.  A Chicago native and Wheaton College alum, Brown is entering his 35th season as the head softball coach at SCS serving from 1982-2012

The boys track & field team led a successful spring for Eagle Athletics by having their best finish in school history, finishing as the 2019 State Runner-up.  The track program sent 21 athletes to this year’s state meet with 7 of them earning all state honors.   Junior Dubem Amene was the 400 meter state champion
