Championship Salute: Soccer State Champions 2001

The 2001 team went 16-5-3 defeating Muskegon Western Michigan Christian 2-1 in the MHSAA Division 4 title game.  The team built an early 2-0 lead in the championship game on goals by Jeremy Atkins and Aaron Bauer that allowed them to hold on for the victory to give the Eagles their first soccer state title.

Little Earns All State Honors in Soccer

Senior Austin Little earned All State Honorable Mention from the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association for his play this past fall.  Little led the Eagles with 20 goals and 11 assists.  His 20 goals ranks 4th in school history for most goals in a season.  Little had 3 hat tricks on the season including

Chip Huber ’86 Inducted into the SCS Athletics Hall of Honor

This year’s hall of honor inductee is Chip Huber from the class of 1986.  Chip was a 3 sport athlete at Southfield Christian who earned 9 varsity letters in soccer, basketball and baseball.  He captained all 3 teams and earned team MVP and 1st team all conference honors in each sport.  Chip earned all state
