Brian Johnson Takes Over Baseball Program

The Southfield Christian Athletic Department is pleased to introduce Brian Johnson as the next Head Varsity Baseball Coach of the Eagles.  Coach Johnson has a very extensive background in athletics. Growing up in Oakland, California he was a 3 sport athlete in high school playing football, basketball and baseball while being named the California Athlete

M.I.A.C. Spring Athletic Awards

Although this spring never got fully on the way and our student-athletes continued to excel in the classroom.  44 of our spring athletes were recognized by the Michigan Independent Athletic Conference by earning Academic All-Conference.  Also, each year the M.I.A.C. recognizes a male and female athlete from each member school with the M.I.A.C. Character Award

Spring Sport Registration

Spring is coming and our 2020 spring athletic season starts next month.  Before your athlete can participate there are several things they must do before they are eligible to join a team.  Below you will find important information that will help you prepare for the upcoming seasons.  Tentative game schedules are currently up on our website at www.southfieldchristianeagles.com.

Sign Up For the 2019 Alumni Baseball Game

The annual 2019 alumni baseball game will be held on Saturday, August 10 at 10 AM at Southfield Christian.  The game is open to all alumni and if you plan to attend please email Coach Len Guerra at len_guerra@yahoo.com. Alumni are also encouraged to join us at the 32nd Annual Eagles Cup on Friday, August 9th. 

Johnson Will Continue His Baseball Career Out East

Zach Johnson recently committed to continue his baseball career at Community College of Baltimore County Essex.  Johnson wrapped up his high school career this past spring by helping lead the Eagles to back-to-back MIAC conference titles and capturing Conference MVP honors for the 2nd straight year.  This past season Johnson went 5-0 on the mound posting
